Crimson's Gay Pride

The pseudo intellectuals are at it again, this they are using their proxies in the student media.  What is it called when judge, who is not accountable to the people, makes a law (or “forces” the legislature to make a law in accord with his ruling)?  It’s judicial fiat.

New Jersey’s Supreme Court ruled that the New Jersey Legislature MUST create a law that either gives homosexuals the right to marry or something equal to marriage with the same title.  In a sane world, such an action would cause an oversight body to call for the “responsible” judges to resign and impeachment proceedings would start against any judges who didn’t resign in the best interests of the law.

State constitutions need to be amended to prevent just this type of disgusting act.  A single judge can prevent the people of a state from changing the law either through their election of people that agree with them, or through the initiative process.  It’s happened too many times here in California (from where I’m writing).  Federal judges are more prone to this than others, because theirs is a lifetime appointment.

To compound matters is this opinion piece from former Supreme Sandy O’Connor.  Any statement that posits the weakness of the judiciary is meant to fool the sheeple.  Is the notion of holding the holy black robed ones to any standard such an abhorrent thought that Ms. O’Connor needs to fight against it?  Well, maybe the people should wake up and decide that the judges who keep affirmative action at the undergraduate level and end it at the graduate level need to find something else to do for a living.

New Jersey voters have the opportunity to vote for a senator who believes in judicial restraint and will work to end corruption.  Unfortunately, they can’t recall the judges on their Supreme Court.

A Great Question!

Here’s a great article that everyone concerned with the direction of society needs to read.  If you believe that the United Nations or the European Union should be the arbiter of all things ethical (e.g. the New York Crimes) then you’ll love the direction of medicine in England.

Socialized medicine is bound to bring these wonderful ideas to the fore.  We shouldn’t be keeping old people, babies who have been born “too” early, or “severely” handicapped children alive.  It just takes too many resources away from people who really need it.

Is the idea that traveling down the birth canal so transforming that at one end a baby can be killed but at the other it’s invaluable?  My coconspirators in medical school mostly believe that a woman’s right to choose trumps that baby’s right to live.  There’s far too much shame in giving up your baby to adoption, it’s better to end its life and deprive families who would do almost anything to raise a baby.

The American people had better wake up.  The culture of death is darkening the future generations of medical students.  Many of my fellow students believe that children who haven’t made that trip down the birth canal should give up their lives so that unproven scientific research can be used in advertisements against the hated Conservatives.  One of the professors at Touro University, CA believes that teaching about the need for abortion is more important than teaching about the prevention of unintended pregnancies.  It’s shameful, but without an outcry by the public, there’s little chance that what is taught at medical school will change.

Single payer health care is a huge mistake.  Electing Democrats to Congress helps in the fight for putting the government in charge of your health care.  Think about this: If you love all the great things that government does, just imagine what it’ll do for your health.

Medical School

It's so late.  Not for anything in particular, but I mean that it's 2300 here in clousy Vallejo, CA.  I've got a Pathology exam tomorrow at 1400 and I've got so much studying to do that if my professors find out I'm blogging, one of the bodies to be dissected next year will be mine.  So, while this hasn't been an auspicious beginning, at least it is a start.

I will say this, Jon F. sKerry, is a dirtbag, but I think my daughter Elizabeth would have forgiven him for being terminally stupid.  Hopefully, he'll keep not apologizing.
