Here’s a great article
that everyone concerned with the direction of society needs to read. If you believe that the United Nations or the
European Union
should be the arbiter of all things ethical (e.g. the New
York Crimes) then you’ll love the direction of medicine in England.
Socialized medicine is bound to bring these wonderful ideas
to the fore. We shouldn’t be keeping old
people, babies who have been born “too” early, or “severely” handicapped
children alive. It just takes too many
resources away from people who really need it.
Is the idea that traveling down the birth canal so
transforming that at one end a baby can be killed but at the other it’s
invaluable? My coconspirators in medical
school mostly believe that a woman’s right to choose trumps that baby’s right
to live. There’s far too much shame in
giving up your baby to adoption, it’s better to end its life and deprive families
who would do almost anything to raise a baby.
The American people had better wake up. The culture of death is darkening the future
generations of medical students. Many of
my fellow students believe that children who haven’t made that trip down the
birth canal should give up their lives so that unproven scientific research can
be used in advertisements against the hated Conservatives. One of the professors at Touro
University, CA believes that teaching
about the need for abortion is more important than teaching about the
prevention of unintended pregnancies. It’s
shameful, but without an outcry by the public, there’s little chance that what is
taught at medical school will change.
Single payer health care is a huge mistake. Electing Democrats to Congress helps in the
fight for putting the government in charge of your health care. Think about this: If you love all the great
things that government does, just imagine what it’ll do for your health.
